Rising Circle's Mission
Rising Circle is a collective of thespians of color that cultivate, affirm, and empower the talents that exist within our respective communities. To accomplish this goal, we've created a space that enables actors, playwrights, and directors of color to hone their crafts by: workshopping and producing original monologues, scenes, and plays by writers of color; revisiting published works by emerging and established writers from around the world; providing a networking vehicle for actors, playwrights, and directors of color, and serving as a resource for directors and casting agencies who are looking for diverse talent.
